Intro: Fete of the Earth 5th July 2009, 10am – 3pm
The 2009 fete will
provide a buzzing festival atmosphere with loads of activities to keep the
whole family happy all day.
The 2009 Science
Trail program is packed with funky science. With a Discovery Centre, hands
on experiments and Meet the Scientist Program (kindly sponsored by University
of Wollongong). We will
also have displays from WIRES, Futureworld, Sustainable Illawarra and Glengarry
Cottage.

Sustainability@Thirroul
For the
first time, Fete of the Earth will include a mini expo, involving organisations
that help promote sustainable approaches to life. Sustainability@Thirroul
will showcase information and products that particularly promote environmental
responsibility at home. Fete visitors are welcome to browse through the stands,
and gain information on issues such as sustainable living, solar energy solutions
and hybrid cars.
